Pagani has just released a second teaser video that previews its new supercar; currently known by the internal codename C9, the latest rumour doing the rounds is that Pagani has registered the name Huayra for its Zonda successor. Pagani will unveil the new C9/Huayra at the Geneva motor show in March 2011 – it’s powered by a twin-turbo, AMG-developed V12 engine. Audi has revealed pricing for the 2013 R8, which starts at £91,575 for the V8 Coupe. The new Audi R8 V10 plus costs from £124,675. The 2013 Audi R8 was revealed last week complete with the only thing that was really missing from the original R8 – a decent auto ‘box.
Stirling Moss hangs up his helmet
It had to come eventually – Sir Stirling Moss retiring from motor racing – but it felt like the best driver England has ever produced could go on for ever. Stirling Moss won sixteen Grands Prix in his career and became synonymous with the Mille Miglia, but his career ended in 1962 after a crash at Goodwood put him in a coma for a month. Many said Stirling could have come back after he recovered from his injuries, he just tried to do it too soon.
